There are currently no capabilities for the automated separation and recycling of single use PET cups from bulk waste in Australia. The majority of single use PET cups in Australia, at every stadium, music event and outdoor festival go to landfill despite their recyclable composition.
Today, a single major stadium in Australia sends over 1.3 Million single use PET Cups to landfill each year, over 6.5 Million over a 5-year period. A five-year Wise program for that stadium results in ZERO cups going to landfill.
Wise Cups can be rewashed up to 500 times, before being shredded and turned into our own Wise designed trays, security crates, lids or trolleys for ongoing operations.
The WISE Wash Plant creates the perfect balance between maximum cleanliness, optimum efficiency and minimal resource consumption. Five preeminent innovations play the lead role in this unique leap forward.
Each custom designed WISE wash plant will wash over 10,000 cups per hour to HACCP standards, whilst consuming less than 90 litres of water and 41Kw of electricity per hour.

With the elimination of single use PET cups comes the elimination of an enormous amount of waste to be picked up post event. Each Wise cup holds a refundable value. At events, patrons are encouraged to collect discarded Wise cups and return them for a refund.
Our extensive Wise research has shown that at international stadiums, events and music festivals a re-washable cup solution with a cash deposit is proven to reduce the post event cleaning effort by 35% when compared to a single use PET cup solution.
Wise exists to challenge and disrupt the use of single use plastic cups and avoid waste to landfill. Our intent is to create disruption in the marketplace in an effort to eliminate single use cups with reusable cups, and assist our clients develop and access genuinely sustainable waste & recycling solutions with an improved customer experience.
